Authors Note: This essay is to show what pride I have in our country and mention how the bad will always be overcome.

I take pride in my country that I live in, because we have overcome so many obstacles to this day. We were able to settle in an unknown land, survive and expand to one of the wealthiest, most sustained countries.
It really started when the Revolutionary war broke out. Thirteen small colonies joined and fought for each others freedom not some king, and defeated the strongest army in the world. It is like the story “David and Goliath”, the little guy rose to defeat the colossal adversary.
When you take account of that we formed on of the most structured governments from scratch it only gets better. We don’t please everyone one, but when you let the citizen’s vote the majority of who voted is pleased every time. There is no way to please everyone so voting ensures the majority is pleased which is the best anyone could every do.
I realize we are giving a lot of our jobs to other countries, but that is improving as citizens are buying more American goods and the unemployment rate has gone significantly down in the last year. If we get completely out of foreign support there will still be conflict over debt, but with the strongest army force in the world built solely volunteers who know that job doesn’t pay much money, but pays the most pride.
When it all boils down I have a lot of pride in our country. We survived, we built, and we grew to become what today is the greatest country of all. Being proud isn’t about being the best it’s about doing something and not regretting it always moving forward never stopping to look back.

Football a Real man's Sport.
Authors Note: I'm writing this because soccer players talk to much smack and use hysteria type football nonsense." Speed is everything I could do better. Being a line man is easy. I don't need blockers. I'm better than all of you."
Soccer players in our school are always saying that our football team sucks and how they could do better. Football players subdue instant pain and a quick pace with around a five second break sprinting away and to the huddle’s. Soccer players trot the field not getting hit just shoved. For football you need to remember plays and be able to sprint and find someone to block or tackle within around two seconds.
When a football play starts the line collides and you hear grunts of pain and pops of shoulder pads. When a soccer play start the ball is kicked into play and they try to evade defenders and not touch the person only the ball. In football you are told to hit the man with the ball and your goal getting the ball is a bonus.
I understand soccer players need more endurance, in football you have to deal with physical and mental pain. The pain is more from getting hit not strained from running or exercising depending on what position you play. Soccer players say they don’t wear pads, but really they don’t need them if they were needed they would be provided if it was really that brutal without pads kids would be dropping like flies. Football player have pads, but still get severely injured and it’s not all that uncommon that a kid has to sit out for the season because of injuries.
When the football is kicked off both teams run towards the ball and one team turns around and blocks for the guy who received the kick. The kick off team doesn’t have to slow down at all so it generates some pretty brutal collision especially if the blockers try to sprint and the other guys doesn’t move at all and just keeps going directly into him, I have firsthand experience of the force generated from that type of collision. In soccer you kick the ball from midfield and the game begins not really all that much hitting going on.
Soccer player talk smack about how they are tougher and hit more, football plays just kind of lay back knowing they get more mentally and physically strained, mostly because we have to think a lot more. When you have to think while in pain it takes a huge toll on your mind, and body. Football players wear pads and still get hurt way more often than soccer players.

The Hunger Games Alternate Ending
The Huger Games What could have been.

Authors note: The Hunger Games is a great book, but from what I read the resolution to the problem was the capitol said they could have two winners making Peeta’s love for Katniss possible. The resolution would have been better if the rules of the games had to stay the same, and one of them would have had to die. The book seems tragic and everything goes wrong, but magically resolves itself which gets boring and entirely unrealistic.
When the cannon fired as we knew Cato was dead, but nothing happened we waited and there was an announcement, we here a booming voice announce that there can only be one winner and that the earlier announcement was wrong. This meant that I had to kill Peeta because I knew he wouldn’t want to hurt me in any way, shape, or form.
If I wanted to see my family and my district again I would have to kill someone I’m possibly in love with. This was why I hated the capitol they controlled us like we were there toys or pets and they basically through us out for entertainment and just sick cruelty. My fists tightened so hard my nails dug into my palm from my ferocity at the capitol and the gamemakers.
Peeta told me to do it with my bow I told him to shut up he didn’t react he knew what I was feeling. His leg was half bitten off if I didn’t kill him he would die a slow painful death. It made the thought easier, but how could anyone stand watching someone die knowing you caused it they will live no more, life at all never to see their family friends or even have a life.
As I drew my bow I closed m eyes, when I opened them the world was over to me and everything was dead to me. I had lost my possible soul mate, all because of people’s greed for wealth and entertainment. This shows how careless people are. I will be back to the capitol when I have my fame and riches for winning and I’m going to make them wish they were dead or even kill them myself if I have to. They don’t deserve to watch anything live or even exist at all, they will pay!!!
